In our second week of what to consider when doing a makeover we look at OFFICE LAYOUT
How your office or workspace is set out impacts those working in it in a number of ways. Productivity can be influenced by how it is laid out, how light and airy it is and generally how appealing it is to work in. Other considerations must be the flow of the office and how easy and clear access to the fire exits are in case of emergencies. Whilst it would be ideal to incorporate these thoughts into the initial design what about carrying out a test run to make sure everyone can get out safety and quickly?
