Do you ever wonder how things get invented? Take for example the hoodie. First developed in the 1920s and 30s it’s intention was to offer a softer and warmer alternative to woollen clothing and was first aimed at sports people and labourers in the US. The term hoodie came into popular culture in the 1970s and re-emerged as a trend setter in the 1990s. Today they are used in all types of formal and informal situations, practical and stylish.
Rapper Sean Combs had one that was diamond studded which is now in the V&A in London. We may not be able to put diamonds on them but you can certainly have your name, slogan or logo on there!
